SLR Lounge
When I look back at nearly a decade of building a wedding-photography business, one of my biggest regrets is not focusing enough on high-quality education early on. Sure, there’s YouTube and free courses, but more often than not, these are taught as theory and not from actual experience. Recently I have been asked to manage the Master the Business of Photography with SLR Lounge community. Regardless if you’re dream photography business is a multi-photographer studio, or a weekend side hustle, if you are serious about running a successful business and taking your skills to the next level, then I cannot recommend SLR Lounge’s education enough. Why wade through a sea of mediocre education? SLR Lounge’s education is built on real experience from experts running one of the largest, most successful photography studios in the world.

2018 is nearing its end and that means it’s time to reflect on some of the incredible images that received Apex Awards. This tier of awards is reserved for those whose images are hand-picked by Curators from the top 1% of images submitted.
Our two major categories for our Award Platform are Wedding Portraiture and Wedding Photojournalism. These images encapsulate the true beauty and authenticity of weddings all credited to the creative artists that just so happened to be in the right place at the right time.
