So much fun hanging out with and photographing Marcus and Lien in Lyons, Colorado yesterday. They are such a beautiful and stylish couple. When we first got into the canyon it started to rain and everyone was a bit nervous we were going to be rained out, but fortunately the clouds parted ways, and the sky opened up for a beautiful sunset, which we shot in Niwot.
Jermy manages The Arvada Tavern in Olde Town Arvada. It's a super cool bar specializing in craft and vintage cocktails. I was excited when he suggested that we shoot part of their session at there. These two were fantastic to work with, open to me getting creative with lighting and making some one-of-a-kind portraits for them. I can't wait to shoot their Lander, Wyoming wedding later this summer!
The Ft. Collins Horsetooth Reservoir is one of my favorite places to shoot engagement sessions. What an incredibly beautiful place, where so many couples can come back to regularly celebrate their love and this beautiful new chapter in their lives.

Last Fall, I had the opportunity to meet up with John and Coleen for a post-wedding formal session in the beautiful Buena Vista Valley. They formally married a few months prior but waited until the Fall foliage was at its prime for their photo session. John and Coleen are incredible photographers; they scouted out the area prior to the photo session to find the best yellow aspens, red oaks, and crisp air to honor and celebrate their love.
The downtown urban jungle of Denver Colorado is always an incredibly fun place to shoot engagement forever sessions. From the city parks to the alleyways, Union Station to the millennial bridge, there's never a shortage of creative places to shoot. I had a wonderful time getting to know this incredible attorney duo, and their awesome pup, Nelsen. I can't wait to get to know them better over the next several months leading up to their wedding.
