Q&A with First Look Events
What is your company’s story? How did it come to be? What got you into the industry?
I started in the back of house for events, working for a local catering company planning and executing events. I learned how many feet you need between tables and how to set a proper table. I had a wedding planner who was my client at the catering company and saw something special in me. I started working for her and fell in love with telling couples love stories, the rest is history!
What set First Look Events apart from other event planners and coordinators?
We are a design-inspired team of wedding planners in the Colorado special event industry. Our crafted process begins with the overall concept, vendor management, design theory and is successfully executed with day-of timelines and event management. We offer both partial- and full-service planning services.
Our goal is to create events that are thoughtfully designed around each client’s story and style. We find extraordinary inspiration in the most unlikely places.
Describe what your ideal client is like?
Our ideal client has a broad idea of what their day looks like, but trust our teams passion for design to come up with a stunning event. Our clients can expect a very well organized and laughter filled wedding day!
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
We take our job very seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We are a small team of passionate and caring planners who always cry when we send our couple down the aisle, will always come up with a design element that hasn't been seen before, and will be busting a move in the corner during your dance party.
