Q&A with Deer Creek Valley Ranch

What is your company’s story? How did it come to be? What got you into the industry?

It sounds crazy but it's true: We turned our Ranch into a wedding venue simply because we are in love with being in love. I was living in Hawaii and Tim was living at the Ranch. Tim went to Hawaii on vacation and, long story short, we met and got engaged 14 days later! We got married 6 weeks after that and STILL celebrate our anniversary every month because we are so thrilled that we found each other. Then Tim first brought me to the Ranch, I was so moved by how beautiful it is I said "We need to share this!" and that was the inspiration for opening our "home" to be a gorgeous place for couples to share their love story with family and friends.

What set Deer Creek Valley Ranch apart from other venues?

I think the biggest thing that sets us apart is that this venue is run by us as a family. We have so much fun getting to know our couples, and their story, and feel it is an honor to be such a big part of this "once-in-a-lifetime" experience. Also, the fact that this is a historic Ranch with several different outdoor and indoor sites, and different backdrops and terrains, allow for each couple to craft a unique experience for their guests. There is nothing 'cookie-cutter' about this venue!

Describe what your ideal client is like?

When a bride (or groom) sees the venue for the first time, and is moved to tears because they know they've found the perfect place (it happens more often than you'd think)... THAT is the ideal client.Is there anything else you'd like to share with our readers?
