What should I Wear To a Wedding?

First and foremost, wedding days are long and can be physically demanding. We want you to be comfortable throughout the day, while professionally representing JMGant Photography. We subscribe to the idea of dressing in an outfit that not only looks well put together and professional but allows you to do your job well.

Shoes and Socks:

  • Wear comfortable shoes that you can move around quickly in

  • Formal dress shoes or ballet flats are ideal, but clean black tennis shoes are okay too

  • Try to match your overall outfit, browns with browns, blacks with blacks, etc.

Bottoms:

  • Dark dress slacks or chinos for men

  • Dress pants, or knee-length skirt for women

  • Formal rompers are okay

  • No jeans and shorts

Tops:

  • Button up shirts tucked in for men

  • Button up shirt or blouses for women

  • Ties or jackets for more formal weddings

  • No t-shirts or crazy patterns

Accessories:

  • Watch, belt, simple jewelry are all great

  • Ovoid too much jewelry

I think for the most part this should be fairly common sense. Dress comfortably, while being professional. How you dress will not only be a direct reflection of you but a reflection on the JMGant Photography brand. A large portion of our wedding come from referral and guests attending weddings, so cognoscente of this. If you have questions, let me know!
