How Will My Photos Be Delivered?

Over the nearly 10 years that we have been photographing weddings, we have tested out many different ways of delivering and displaying photos. Our favorite way for our clients to preserve and display their photos is our 12x12 Premium Album. There is just no substitute for printed photos. But not all photos get printed, and even when they do, in our digital age, we all expect and want digital photos as well. Here are our thoughts on digital delivery:

Online Gallery
An online gallery is our default delivery method. We create a custom website specifically for you and your wedding day where we upload and host all of your wedding photos for one year. This online gallery can be accessed with any web-enabled electronic device and is even supported with an app that can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play. From your gallery, you can organize your photos, highlight your favorites to find them easily, order professional wall art, and easily share with friends and family. But, an online gallery is not a long-term storage solution. When you book your photography, you can extend you hosting up to three years for an additional charge, but the hosting does end.

CDs or DVDsFor years, custom DVDs were our way of delivering photos, but we all know how fragile DVDs are. They get scratched, broken, misplaced, and let’s be honest, most computers don’t even have a disc drive any longer. As a result, nearly 25% of our clients were requesting replacement DVDs. We believe this is an outdated way to deliver photos, and so we no longer use this as an option.

Custom USBWe have partnered with USBMemoryDirect.com to offer another solution. In addition to your online gallery, you can now order flash drives for yourself and your family. Because technology is always advancing, we have selected a dual flash drive that offers both USB-C and UB-A connectors. This will ensure that, regardless of which type of device you’re using, your flash drive will always work. Additionally, you’ll be downloading hundreds of photos, which can take a very long time. With that in mind, we have selected a flash drive with lighting fast USB 3.1 speed, allowing you to transfer your files as quickly as possible. We believe the flash drive is a great complement to your online gallery.
