Estes Park Resort Wedding | Rocky Mountain National Park Wedding Photographer | Kadie and Alan

The Estes Park Resort was a perfect location for Kadie and Alan’s Rocky Mountain Wedding. With guests and family traveling from all over the country, they enjoyed a beautiful fall weekend. The day began with the bride and groom, along with their wedding party, hanging out and getting ready for the big day. We went to the highest point in Rocky Mountain National Park for Kadie and Alan’s first look, followed up by wedding party photos in a beautiful mountain valley. The ceremony overlooked Lake Estes, with down town Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park in the distant background. Following the ceremony everyone enjoyed a delicious meal and incredible, non-stop, dance party.

Congratulations, Kadie and Alan. I wish you a lifetime of happiness.

Their Story told by Kadie:
In January 2015 Alan and I met through divine intervention and 6-degrees of separation.

I was in Beaumont, Texas doing my third clinical rotation for my last year of PT school. At first to back it up a little bit, I was VERY unhappy to get that assignment. I was literally the LAST person to pick out of the class on that rotation and it was the only one left. Beaumont, TX?!?? Seriously?! What was out there?! I told my mom that there's going to be nothing fun or exciting for me to do while I'm there. Her response, "watch you're going to meet your future husband" and boy did we laugh!!! My mom ended up reaching out to Kayla's (my sister) freshman year of college roommate via facebook since she was from the area. She ended up having a friend named Kalan who had an extra bedroom and was looking to rent it out. It fell into place perfectly!

Alan had been working as a Traveling PT already for a few months and was stationed in Port Arthur, TX for his assignment in January. As most of you know Alan plays a game called Ingress which connects him to people from all over the world as well as locally. Through this game he had became friends with a guy named Billy.

One Sunday Kalan told me we were going to a small local dive bar called "The West" to watch the NFL playoff game between the Green Bay Packers and the Seattle Seahawks and that we were meeting up with some of her friends. Kalan had invited Billy, Billy invited Alan.

I remember him sitting there when we walked in and instantly was like danggggg, he's very good looking!! We started talking and discovered that he was a Traveling PT and that I too wanted to be a Traveling PT upon graduation. I remember leaving thinking, WOW. That guy is special, I'm totally crushin'!

It took about a week and a half after our initial meeting to go out on our first date to Cheddars, and it was amazing!! 2+ hours of conversation followed by the next 5 straight days of hanging out and it was done. After just a few weeks of dating I asked Alan to be my boyfriend and we have been traveling the United States together ever since!
