Denver Indian Wedding at Botanic Gardens - Shaila and Ryan

Shaila and Ryan embraced family, friends, and the best of both worlds with their double-ceremony wedding that incorporated both traditional Indian and traditional American elements.

Music and color filled the air as Shaila and friends gave a spectacular performance and celebrated at their Sangeet. The party lasted well into the evening, but energy abounded the next morning as the bride and groom donned their traditional Sikh Indian clothing and accessories.

The first ceremony would take place at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center, where shoes of all types and sizes lined the walls—an indication of the many loved ones who stepped out of their routines and busy lives to solemnly celebrate the joining of these two wonderful people.

After the ceremony, and after some amazing food and a moment alone, it was time for Shaila and Ryan to enjoy the second part of their day. Both bride and groom freshened up and changed outfits, coming together once again under the Spring sun at the majestic Denver Botanic Gardens for ceremony two.

Not a few tears were shed as they read their vows to one another and later shared their first dance. Clouds of bright pink and purple rolled in over the pale blue sky—a perfect metaphor for their day that melded multiple traditions in one.

The rest of the evening was filled with food and drinks, toasts and stories, music and jugglers, family and dancing. A truly epic event. Congratulations, Shaila and Ryan!
